345: a simple, effective way for you to change the world.
Current 345 Projects:
Education/Vocation:
Osanidde School, Bussi Island, Lake Victoria, Uganda
The children of Osanidde Village School had been struggling through the rainy seasons by studying under trees without trained instructors, but in 2008, through generous donations from abroad, the leadership was able to put up a temporary structure and hire nine qualified teachers to futher their educational process. Construction of a proper school campus has begun and will make it possible to provide quality education and a future for these wonderful children.
Orphan Care:
Guma Na Yesu Children's Center, Mbarara, Uganda
Picture 450 orphans. One couple, Naboth and Alice, doing everything they can to provide for the children. So many needs, so little help. But they have a vision: a free orphan school, basic provisions (of food, clothing, and educational supplies) and a family support base - to enable hundreds of orphans to be adopted into Christian families.
Medical:
Baby Corrie, Morningstar Project, China
Corrie is a one-year-old Chinese baby with many severe medical needs. She requires heart and anal surgery, along with many other procedures.
The goal of Corrie's caregivers is to see that Corrie's health is stabilized, her growth is appropriate, and then look to the future as far as necessary surgeries. Even with the possibility of donated surgeries, transport and hospital costs could reach $5000 per surgery.
